The speciality line is a working descriptor, not a regulatory title. Where a person’s credentials define what they may and may not do, the ledger itself is the authority — this page is only a way in.

House conventions

Written down so the repository stays consistent as it grows past the point where you remember how you set it up.

One folder per person, lowercase, initial plus surnameKaran Puri → /kpuri/. Each folder holds an index.html and that person’s own assets.
The folio reference is the person’s primary registration numberKaran Puri is KP-6968158, after his CRD number. Pick the number that most reliably identifies the person in a public register.
Portraits live in the person’s own folder/kpuri/portrait.jpg. Square crop, roughly 400 × 400 px, so one file serves both this index and the ledger head.
Every fact carries a source tag, in every ledgerPrimary · As supplied · Third party · Context · Inference. A fact without a tag is not yet a fact.
Bump the revision line whenever a folio changesBoth on the ledger itself and in the masthead here, so the two never drift apart.
Speciality lines stay descriptive, never regulatory“Investment advisory” describes a working role. It is not a claim that someone holds a particular registration.
